Art Exploration is a series of mixed media workshops that are suitable for all levels of experience!
Each week Alison will lead through presentations and prompts with emphasis on designing and painting abstracted artworks on canvas. New concepts and techniques will be added weekly.
Please note: To attend each class, pre-registration is required. Classes will cap at 10 participants.

About the Class:
This week's session will focus on abstract floral painting with acrylic paints. We will be using real flowers as inspiration and sketching our interpretation of the shapes and lines directly onto the canvas. Basic color theory surrounding the flowers will be presented and then we will depict them using acrylic paints. Texture tools and different paint brush sizes will be introduced achieve the final abstracted images onto the paintings.
