What is the White Horse Community Hub, and what does it have to do with Quietude?

The White Horse Community Hub in Black Mountain is a daytime community program where facilitators can host free wellness, arts, and educational events.

Due to recent building damage, White Horse is not currently able to use their space. Quietude is temporarily hosting and organizing these Hub events to keep the offerings available to the community.
Quietude also helps promote the events via our website and social media platforms.

Are classes really free?

Yes, classes are 100% free. Due to the structure of the grant that makes The White Horse Community Hub possible, we cannot accept donations.
However, if you'd like to support Quietude directly, you can find our Venmo and PayPal links under the "Donate" tab on our website.

Do I need to register for classes?

Accepted Answer

While most classes do not require registration, classes with high attendance will often have a registration process via EventBrite. Check the event page to see if the class you're interested in requires registration.
